Non Skier Access to Race Venues

Non Skier Access to NASTAR National Championships race venue

There are a very limited number of seats so we can only provide five (5) people per day a ride to the race venue. You must request a ride in the registration room and provide a phone number. Rides will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

• Meet the snow-cat on the Sleigh Ride Trail above the Top of The Village at 8:30am

• Be prepared to spend the day outside.

• The snow-cat will depart from the Spider Sabich Race Arena at 1:00pm.

From Base Village:

1. Take any Village Shuttle going to the Snowmass Mall or take the Sky Cab gondola to the Mall.

From Snowmass Mall:

1. Take Village Shuttle Route 5 going to Top of the Village that departs at 8:15am.
2. From the Top of the Village, walk uphill to the Sleigh Ride Trail (follow signs).
3. Turn left on Sleigh Ride Trail and follow trail out to Dawdler to meet the small snow-cat.

To walk to the Spider Sabich Race Arena:

1. Follow the instruction above but continue across Dawdler (first trial) and turn right on Velvet Falls. Follow the orange uphill signs for about 1/2 mile to the Lynn Britt Cabin and the race venue.
