Welcome to the 2025–2026 NASTAR Season
The gates are set, the timing is ready, and racers across the country are hitting the course! NASTAR is back for another exciting winter, and this year we’re building on the incredible momentum we saw last season.
Last year was our first full season as the new owners of NASTAR, and thanks to you, the racers, families, and resorts that make up this community, we saw solid growth across the board:
-
36,900 racers (+5% over the previous season)
-
97,000 racer days (+5%)
-
243,000 starts (+7%)
Those numbers mean more people trying NASTAR for the first time, more familiar faces coming back for another run, and more high fives at the finish.
Focused on Racers and Resorts Alike
Meeting the needs of hosting resorts has been a top priority for us. We know that when resorts have the right tools, racers get the best experience. Over the past year, we’ve upgraded our pacesetter technology, streamlined event management, and enhanced racer tracking to make the NASTAR experience smoother and more accurate than ever.
No Nationals or Regionals This Season
We’ve made the decision to pause both Nationals and Regionals this year. Instead, we’re focusing on building participation at the local level, where the magic of NASTAR begins. Our goal is to help every resort strengthen its program, making it easy for racers to enjoy competition close to home and to improve all season long.
Standout Resorts from Last Season
A special shoutout to some of the resorts that saw the highest participation:
-
Deer Valley (UT) – 6,057 racers, 24,340 starts
-
Aspen Mountain (CO) – 4,654 racers, 16,001 starts
-
Wachusett Mountain (MA) – 1,213 racers, 17,606 starts
See you at the start gate!
