Day 1 National Championships

Day 1 of the Liberty Mutual Insurance NASTAR National Championships saw the adults 21 years and older compete in the morning and the kids 20 and younger race in the afternoon.
After a full day of racing everyone headed to the gondola plaza for the introduction of the U.S. Ski Team alumni pacesetters, the raffle for more than 100 great prizes from sponsors and the bump awards. Below is a list of racers that broke out of their qualifying division and got bumped to a new division.
Following the on stage presentation the pacesetters headed to the Steamboat Base Camp for an autograph sessions. Then it was time to rest up for Day 2 of the competition.
