Resort, State and National Rankings

For alpine, snowboard and telemark age-group rankings, a resort ranking can be earned from one race. It uses your best handicap at that resort during the season.

State and National age-group rankings for those disciplines require three separate race days. The ranking handicap is the average of your best handicaps from three different days. Taking three runs on one day does not meet that requirement. Your State Ranking uses your state of residence.

Alpine division rankings place racers in Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze according to the applicable age and gender standards. A season division can differ from the medal earned on an individual run.

Other ranking categories

Overall rankings compare racers within a gender without the age or medal-division grouping. Overall alpine National and State Rankings use the three-day average; Overall Resort Rankings use the best handicap at that resort.

Adaptive classification rankings use a single best handicap and can be earned from one race day. Overall Snowboard, Overall Telemark and Snowbike rankings also use a single best handicap. These categories have different rules from standard age-group National Rankings.

Participation rankings recognize days raced and the number of results recorded during the season.

Team rankings

Online teams use members' season team points. The scoring groups are the top six members for Family/Friends teams, 15 for Club teams and 20 for Resort teams. Read about joining and scoring online teams.

Why a ranking may be missing

Check the season and category, confirm that the required race days have been uploaded, and check that your results are on the same racer record. Rankings update separately from results uploads. If a race itself is missing or incorrect, contact the race operator.
