Ski racing is a big part of the LEKI tradition. The company supports all skiers from those who are just cutting their teeth to those who have won World Championship titles, which is why they are partnering with Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety to offer a deserving up-and-coming skier a chance to win the LEKI “Full Ride” Scholarship to the Ligety-Weibrecht Ski Camp this summer. It is the ultimate opportunity to train with premier ski racing coaches at one of the best summer training locations in the country.

LEKI first sponsored Ligety in his 2015 quest for a World Championship gold medal and continues to support him on the alpine circuit. Ligety embodies the drive and character that inspires kids to not only do their best in skiing, but also off the slopes in their everyday lives.

LEKI will offer this scholarship, which includes registration fees for one week of camp, air travel to and from camp, and LEKI race gear, to one ski racer in need. Applications can be submitted here, and will be accepted through April 15, 2017. In the application, skiers are asked to submit a short essay on why they deserve a week at the camp.

The Ligety-Weibrecht Ski Camp runs three sessions in summer 2017. Visit their website for more information on the camps.
